      This paper gives some properties of the residual intersections and the generic residual intersections, discuss the generalized Cohen-Macaulayness and its change under deformations. We also discuss the generalized Cohen-Macaulayness, Cohen-Macaulayness and smoothability of the generic resdual intersections.
