      In this paper, we study the K_０ group of ring R/I. We prove that if R/I∈PT, I?J(R), then Ｋ_０Ｒ≈Ｋ_０(R/I) if and only if every idempotent can be lifted modulo I. Moreover, we give a characterization of exchange ring.
