Embedding a Homeomorphism in a Flow with Its Appl ication

Abstract:

      In this paper we prove that a Self homeomorphism of the real line can be embedded in a continuous flow if and only if it is increasing. Moreover, as an application, we give a sufficient condition for a class of homeomorphisms of the ane onto itself to embed in continuous flows.
