Abstract:

      It is shown in this paper that a weighted unilateral Shift T of multiplicity k (0n}₀^∞ converge, is unitarily equialent to a Toeplitz operator if and only if (1-|a_n|²)=(1-|a₀|²) (1-|a_n-k|²)(n>k) and |a₀|= |a₁|=…|a_k-1| where we assume ‖T‖=1.
