We define the fuzzy p. q. metrix (instead of the associated family of Q -neighborhood mappings) induced by a pointwise fuzzy p. q. metric. Under the new definition, there exists an one-to-one correspondence between the pointwise fuzzy p. q. (p. ) metrics and the fuzzy p. q. (p. ) metrics.
