This paper studies a new equivalent system of Liénard's equation. Some compar sion theorems are given so that the existence of periodic solutions and the boundedness of solutions to the new equivalent system can be obtained by means of the existence of periodic solutions and the boundedness of solutions to traditional Liénard system. These results extend and improve many existing ones in the literaturs.
